Our journey

Creating Space

Space can be described as that place between impulse and reaction. It’s like a pause.  It allows people to make decisions to respond rather than simply react. Even if that space is only a few seconds, it can allow a person to breathe.

Many people who seek counseling do so because they are in some kind of distress. They may feel like saying “I just need space.”  Space to think, to talk through things or perhaps just to be heard. As we were preparing our counseling rooms at The Journey International, we had our clients in mind. The chairs, couches and décor were carefully chosen. We wanted to give our clients a confidential place where they can feel comfortable and safe. Although we’ve just opened, it has already been such an honor to see clients for counseling at our center and to be a part of their journey.

For those considering counseling, we’ve created two unique spaces for you at The Journey International. Our yoga and workshop space was also designed for you to feel at ease.  We invite you into this space, for you to lean into what is needed for you.

Welcome.
